The objectives were to promote environmental awareness of trees and green spaces in the neighbourhood, to foster climate resilience and prevent flash floods in nearby villages around Inle Lake and to build a community of Tree-Warriors through this activity. This activity is really important as the township and villages near Inle Lake experienced the biggest flooding in history for almost one month in October. The challenge aims to support the importance and expansion of trees and green spaces for preventing people from potential climate change and natural disasters.
